To cut down on
interior heat, I added
Thermo-Tec insulation under the carpeting, including insulation on both sides of
the transmission hump.
I used Thermo-Tec Part No. 13590 on the underside of the hump, and then Thermo-Tec Part No. 14620 all over inside.
I purchased it all from
Summit Racing.
It was way cheaper than Dynamat, and seems to be doing a super job. The amount
of the stuff I used was QTY 1 of 13590 and QTY 2 of 14620. I had
also purchased some 1.5" wide heat shield tape, Part No. 14000, but only
ended up using two small pieces of it to close off a gap. Really
didn't need it.
